Cleaning up WordPress database after UTW
After upgrading to WordPress 2.3 and trying to re-evaluate tag usage, I decided to re-visit an old pet-peeve of mine: The relatively massive (read: gi-normous) size of my wp_postmeta table. Quick look at WordPress issues in July:
WordPress 2.0.4 was released on the 29th. With over 60 bugs squashed since 2.0.3 (including what little substantive portion there was of Dr. Doom’s(sic) “OMG-The-Sky-Is-Falling” reference) this is the most secure, stable release or WordPress.
